Since 2003, KENSEI has manufactured friction components in Selangor with a focus on consistent specifications, dependable production and export-ready service.
KENSEI was founded in Malaysia by a team of automotive engineers who believed that brake components — the most safety-critical part of any vehicle — deserved a manufacturer obsessed with consistency rather than commodity pricing.
Today we operate a fully integrated facility in Selangor, producing brake pads, brake shoes and disc rotors for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and heavy-duty applications. Our customers are aftermarket distributors, private-label brands and OEM suppliers across more than 35 countries.
We are part of a wider Malaysian automotive manufacturing group, sharing technical resources and supplier networks while operating as an independent brand focused entirely on braking systems.
KENSEI begins as a specialist brake pad manufacturer serving the Malaysian aftermarket, with a single production line and eight engineers.
Expansion into drum brake friction for commercial vehicles. First export shipments to Singapore and Indonesia.
Dedicated export desk for Middle East and African markets established. UAE, Saudi Arabia and Africa become important export destinations.
ECE R90 homologation secured. First container shipments to distributors in Germany and the Benelux region.
Foundry partnership and machining facility added, completing the trio of brake product lines under one roof.
Achievement of automotive-grade quality management certification, opening doors to OEM and tier-1 supply contracts.
Brakes save lives. Every formulation is over-engineered against its specification, then independently verified.
A great batch is meaningless if the next one differs. Statistical process control keeps variation tight across millions of units.
We invest in our distributors' success — technical support, marketing assets and reliable lead times included.
ISO 14001-certified processes, dust-extraction systems and recyclable packaging across our facility.
Whether you're evaluating a new supplier or scaling an existing one, our team is ready to talk specifications, volumes and logistics.
